I don’t use a ‘one size fits all’ approach to modifying a dog’s behavior.

garypicscanI use treats, a clicker and lots of praise to motivate your dog. I never use pinch, shock or choke collars.

Every dog is unique.  Before working with a dog, I take into consideration the breed, age, living situation and history.  I do not have a “one size fits all approach” to modifying a dog’s behavior.

Safety is of paramount importance! If your dog is especially aggressive towards people or other dogs, Gentle Leader head collars and basket muzzles may be used initially during the rehabilitation process.

“In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn’t merely try to train him to be semi-human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog.” – Edward Hoagland
